We have incorporated our Sustainability Framework into our investment analysis and decision-making process. Doing this at the point of acquisition enables our asset management team to develop solid business plans with measures to reduce the environmental risks associated with future projects.
This includes measures to improve the EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) of potential investments. Improving the energy performance of our new developments by enhancing the building fabric, including renewable and low carbon sources of energy where possible (such as PV panels and air sourced heat pumps) and targeting a BREEAM score of excellent with each development site.
